A repetition of meaning may be intended to amplify or emphasize a certain
aspect of the thing being discussed, and in this case this was my intention.

As not everything American is mindless crap, for example Harley Davidson's,
well perhaps not the best example, let's look at McDonalds, on reflection
maybe not, then there is George Bush, help me here I am struggling, the
American Movie industry? Yank cars? They used to make a fine washing machine
    at one stage.

Just forget I said anything Betty, have a great Holiday.

  10. Frosty, the only thing that will stop him thumping you, when you two do
eventually meet, is that he believes in law and order and will
    therefore politely join the queue.

oh poop, totally embarrassed here - when I talked about a moron alert I was
talking about myself, for giving the Oxymoron call when it should've been
    the Tautology call....

Oh, I think I will! After the usual boring commute home I pulled into my
driveway and was overwhelmed by lurve for my bike, knowing that it'll just
be Me and Him for the next few days.... *sigh*

  19. Not saying that this not mindless crap jl, I had seen this many times before too,
I am saying that Aido has the right to post something he or she has not seen before,
even though you and maybe thousands of other may have seen it a number of times.
I respect the right of anyone to say whatever they think,
a lot of the time I will not agree with them and say so,
but they still have tihe right to say whatever.

    even knobless.

  20. I'll have to agree with George.

Too often I see "that's so 1999)" or welcome to last week" from people
who have seen something upteen times before. Yep. To them it is old hat,
and perhaps no longer 'new and exciting'.

And yet, for the person posting, it's a brand new sparkling
    witticism/discovery/fact that obviously appeals.

I'll also agree that, the first time I ever saw "just a biker", I
cringed. I've perhaps seen it a hundred times since, and I still cringe.

But hey! The 'delete' button is a mere click away for emails, and the
'next' button is just another click too (or flick of the spacebar)
