Just been outbid. It was worth a tenner, for various bits, but I haven't
really got the room. In any case, whoever resprayed it blue and put
Suzuki on the tank should be shot. Some comedian has put the chain
'shark's tooth' on upside down, and I've never, ever, seen a GFR with a
kickstart, so I'm very suspicious that it has the correct motor. There
is a blanking plug on the gearbox where the shaft would be TBF, but the
workshop manual doesn't even mention one on the 'Freestyle'. Just
possible the RC125 used one I suppose.

  2. Blimey. I'd have thought it was worth more than that just for a couple
    of the bits.

    In communiqué <1ivulnq.ow1sh01hrwlp8N%>,
Shush ! It is, but I've already go one spare one, so I'm far from
desperate to win it. If the fork seals are OK, it would have saved me a
few bob last week though. Another spare CDI unit (assuming it works)
could be useful, and I could definitely cobble together a not bothered
too much if dropped example out of it for the lad .I wonder what it will
    actually reach.

And, yes, the RC125 did have a kick start. So I am guessing it has the
motor from one of those. Lots of common parts, but not in the same state
of tune as a GFR. Looks as if the fairing has been cut away to allow it
    to be used.
