    Hi,

Ran out of fuel on my BMW K100 (whoops), and having put in about 8L it
still won't start. Petrol pump works when the starter button is pressed,
and engine splutters a bit, but won't keep going longer than a second
after the starter button is released. Was running fine before I ran out.
    :-(

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Prolly worked the air bubble out of the injector pump.

The rail runs at pretty high pressure, more like he just hadn't leaned
on the button long enough to work it through.
