When I was riding through the "Chain of ponds" the other
day (a fairly twistie bit of road in the Adelaide hills),
I saw this poor fat kid bent over having a hurl by the side
of the road. I couldn't help finding it amusing ;).

Poor kid. He didn't look too happy !. His Grandmother
(the driver -- station wagon) was patting him on the
    back LOL.

Reminds me of a scene in the movie Beethoven ??--

    "I'm gonna barf !, I'm gonna barf !.."

    ha ha ha

Granny a bit lead footed... pay back for
playing up in cinema !. I can relate to that ;).

My ex-girlfriends nephew was being particularly
annoying at the go-kart track one day. At the
time I felt unfortunate to have him estowed on
be to be my passenager in one of the 2 seater
    carts.

About 3 laps in, I realised the little shit
went a bit quiet and a bit green. When he
was tugging me.. there was me thinking that
he wanted to me go faster !.

  6. Last time I had a hurl from a car it was due to discovering that,
after you've been lying on a spinal restraint board while they pump
you full of morphine for 9 hours, the very first thing you should do
when leaving hospital is NOT go and eat a big mac meal..

I wouldn't have thought the morphine or spinal restraint board were relevant -
I'd have thought there was a direct correlation between maccas and hurling...

Morphine is one of those things that has been known to make people feel
sick, and be sick. Me, I like and its soothing properties.

Me, I like going to the dentist. Happy gas is a lot easier
to qualify for than morphine. Put on the "I'm scared of
dentists, you're not even looking in my mouth until you
give me the gas" routine. Then, when you're just about
wasted on the gas and they ask you "Can you feel the
gas taking effect yet?" you say "No, are you sure you
    turned it on?".

So they crank the gas up some more, and give it a few
more minutes to 'take effect'. The head, she's-a-spinnin',
    and the temples, they're-a-throbbin' <GRIN> :)

Then, they can do what they fuckin' like! Amputate my
right leg with a blunt spoon if you like, just keep
    that gas a comin' :)

(Dentists don't actually bother me at all, but you have
to pretend that they do, or you won't get any gas!)

  12. After getting the tip of one of my fingers "degloved" during a farming
incident and having to walk back up to the farm house and go through the
whole what are you allergic to stuff routine.... I didn't care, and they
knew I was obviously in pain, but warned me of the side affects and as they
did, I was banging my head onto their table and spurting blood.

It took the edge off it and then off to town to get the finger looked at as
the doc didn't have the confidence to fix it with out fucking it.

Wodonga Cas, then Alb cas (now A&E), 6 hours later after leaving the farm,
they called in a micro surgeon and the nurse on duty got the doses wrong,
and gave me twice as much as should have. Cue Floyd song comfortably numb,
but so depressing the next day.....

Glad you like the gas, but I don¹t like to muck about when I am in pain,
    give me real drugs anyday.

Agree entirely. You need to understand tho that the situation
of which I speak involves no pain, just a convenient excuse to
get loaded up with some mild-but-fun drugs!

Going to the dentist beats the hell out of sucking up whipped
cream gas canisters one at a time out of one of those cream
siphon thingamies too! (Not that I'd know or anything!)

  16. Friend of mine who is a nurse was in hospital after having a caesarian
    for her first child.

Pretty drugged up. We go in to see her and her mum and dad are there
    too.

Dad is an ex-Vietnam vet and was wounded during the war. He looks at
the drip going into her arm and says, "I remember that, good stuff it
    is".

She looks at him, "You needed your uterus contracting?"

    :)

    Cheers
