So can I, but I can't think of many that weigh sod all to begin with,
come with a fast road cam, chip, Apex suspension - basically fully
sorted for track use, and will cost me around £500-£600.

I want something that's pretty much totally disposable.

Nice. I'm hoping for 5% but will have to wait another couple of weeks
    to find out.

I do that daily and don't even get the "well done", which is why I
hold out for the silly salary and bonus.

  11. Not that you'd be around to care... But we start up again towards
the end of next month, and I think we'll be ramping up pretty quickly
towards about 3.5 TeV in both directions before eventually going to 5; ISTR
we won't be trying for the full 7 TeV until next year. So if the world's
still around by the end of March it's a good bet it won't be going anywhere.

    We've not bought from them.

We bought from the local department store - same place we're getting the
carpet from and they've done us a decent price including fitting.

It's only going in the hall, with no furniture, and dining room - where
we only have a small chest of drawers, bookcase and table / chairs, so
    it should be OK.

They reckon it has 5 layers of lacquer on it, and it can be re-coated -
with a guaranteed life of 25 years.

    That's good enough for me.

The whole thing, including a heavy duty, Axminster made (but plain
colour....) carpet for the lounge / stairs / landing is coming in at
    around £2.3k.

No doubt we could do it cheaper (I reckon we could save a few quid /
square metre on the wood if we shopped around), but this is quick and
easy. They threw in a Sony Cybershot camera and digital frame as well.
True, but it seems solid enough for the places we're putting it.
