Anyone else have the chance to blow into the machine today? There were 3
motorcycle police outside the Kinglake police station doing licence and RBT
checks on (what seemed to be) only bikes. Except the P plater car driver who
went speeding down the road oblivous to the 3 marked bikes by the side of
the road! On the way out Kinglake I got pulled over again by the same
copper, thinking how crap it was to be stopped twice by the same guy in an
hour, only to be surprised to be asked if I'd seen a Blackbird go past.
Apparently this guy went past the police bikes on the Melba Highway to
Kinglake road at about 200+ (his estimate, not sure if it's reliable). If
    that was you, lucky!

Yeah I did. I was stopping to stretch the legs anyway and noticed the cops
    after I'd stopped :)

I don't really have an objection to RBTs or licence checks.

I noticed a black CBR1100 parked with the marked bikes. It had a few aerials
on it and I thought it must've been theirs. I meant to ask but forgot.

    Hi,

Me neither and the guy who stopped me was very pleasant and quite chatty. He
had a look at the rear tyre, said 'at least your'e riding it right'!
Explained that was a result of PI track days, when he then asked what lap
times I did, discussed where you lose time on a track, how some riders are
just so damned fast on a track and compared bike injuries (me, lost bits of
flesh, bits of foot etc, he, jutting out collar bone). So didn't mind being
stopped as it wasn't bad at all.

The black CBR was one of theirs, the one they were chasing was brown? Anway,
    he was a luck man!

There was a plain 4-wheeler at the St. Andrew's Pub on
Saturday arvo, and a cop doing RBTs in the middle of a
desolate stretch of turnoff near Mernda, but no sign
    other than that ...
Probably Nev running it in :)

today.. lunch at the Port Campbell pub. Must check the BC800 mounts... it
    stops registering at around 15^2.
