Kiwipete ????

Ok, I read only a small proportion of posts in this group
and am not a heavy poster.

Anyway, what is the go with Kiwipete ? I thought he
was mates with most before he went back to the land of
the big white cloud but there appears to be some very
bitter flames going on here.


What have i missed ?

 

I'll try to give you my perspective - I've only been a regular at aus.moto
for the last 3 months or so, and I don't usually dislike anyone in an NG,
but Kiwipete has really gone out of his way to annoy anyone and everyone,
including me, which is rare.

The major recent stoush occurred when he posted something genuinely sad
about a young girl murdered in NZ, for which he got a mild amount of
sympathetic posts. I think he was dissatisfied with the volume of response,
and he commenced to harangue everyone for not devoting every single post to
this OT subject.

He then launched a campaign for everyone to write letters to the family of
this poor girl, and when some people observed that maybe a bunch of email
letters from motorcyclists in Australia wouldn't necessarily be the most
constructive thing to do and might even be viewed negatively by the victim's
family - Theo came up with my personal favourite comment - "Somebody sticks
a microphone under your nose and asks "What do you think of all the letters
and cards that have been sent to you in support?" Are you going to say
"Fucking voyeuristic arseholes", or be demurely polite?"

When people finally responded with 'Yes, it's sad, but this is a motorcycle
group, enough already', he commenced to flame/spam everyone with endless
tirades about how "he was the only person who cared about anything but
themselves' and how everyone at AM was emotionally disturbed, and how he
could 'help people if they would only accept that they all had deep-seated
emotional problems'. , KP then declared that everyone on the planet was
going into his killfile.

The response from the remainder of the community was pretty much what you
would expect.

child and now just can't find anything positive... Could it be that you were

mockery out of something that was meant to be helpful..."

KP as Psychoanalyst #3:[To Vinyl, again] "The real reason you don't say a
positive thing is that you do not know how...Why do you instantly think that
to do something constructive is somehow wrong.... you have a massive
inferiority complex! Anyhow.. I can not be bothered about selfish small
minded individuals such as yourself... so welcome to my killfile again!"

KP as Judge and Jury:

-"Smee... you are a weak minded individual who has little credibilty outside
of this madhouse... Fuckwit!! and reinstated to my killfile..."

have to deal with another selfish moron who doen't care for anyone but

Apologies to those who's passage into the KP killfile I have missed. I
couldn't find one for Clem or Theo, so sorry for that.

Basically just some pretty heavy debates where its resorted to abuse... For
my part, I don't hate anyone here... and would have a drink with them...
well except Nev perhaps...

Wasn't trying to feed a troll, and besides I am (allegedly) in the killfile
anyway. I thought of it more as a community service, assembling a 'Best of'
collection. And I had nothing better to do at the time

Its not just that he disagrees with the majority, its the stupidity of
the arguments and the volume with which they're brayed at people that
seems to be the key factor in this. Plus he insists on thinking that
