I'll try to give you my perspective - I've only been a regular at aus.moto
for the last 3 months or so, and I don't usually dislike anyone in an NG,
but Kiwipete has really gone out of his way to annoy anyone and everyone,
including me, which is rare.

The major recent stoush occurred when he posted something genuinely sad
about a young girl murdered in NZ, for which he got a mild amount of
sympathetic posts. I think he was dissatisfied with the volume of response,
and he commenced to harangue everyone for not devoting every single post to
this OT subject.

He then launched a campaign for everyone to write letters to the family of
this poor girl, and when some people observed that maybe a bunch of email
letters from motorcyclists in Australia wouldn't necessarily be the most
constructive thing to do and might even be viewed negatively by the victim's
family - Theo came up with my personal favourite comment - "Somebody sticks
a microphone under your nose and asks "What do you think of all the letters
and cards that have been sent to you in support?" Are you going to say
"Fucking voyeuristic arseholes", or be demurely polite?"

When people finally responded with 'Yes, it's sad, but this is a motorcycle
group, enough already', he commenced to flame/spam everyone with endless
tirades about how "he was the only person who cared about anything but
themselves' and how everyone at AM was emotionally disturbed, and how he
could 'help people if they would only accept that they all had deep-seated
emotional problems'. , KP then declared that everyone on the planet was
going into his killfile.

The response from the remainder of the community was pretty much what you
would expect.

Let's see, a selection of choice quotes:

KP as "Prophet of Doom":
"Paulh... remember this is a public forum.... be careful of your words...
they may come back to bite...."
[To Vinyl] "...your reasons for doing what you do will also be one day
between you and God... make no mistake of that!"

KP as "Agony Aunt" : "Anyhow I gave people the opportunity to contribute....
the ones that spoke up with encouraging comments are thanked... the ones
that said nothing... well thats fine... thats your choice... but the ones
who whinged and
abused.... I just hope those people never have to face tragedy.... for
their sake..."

KP as "Vigilante" : [To Moike] "Your credibilty along with all the other
people arguing in this thread has been totally distroyed... I am copying
this thread and will send it... but I'll send it not to the parents, but to
a couple of magazines I know..."

KP as Psychoanalyst: [To IK] "Could it be that you have nothing positive to
say about anyone..? Could it be that you were verbally abused as a young
child and now just can't find anything positive... Could it be that you were
physically abused?"

KP as Psychoanalyst #2: [To Sharkey] "I wonder if you have ever had any love
in your life... it seems not... you and a few others have made a public
mockery out of something that was meant to be helpful..."

KP as Psychoanalyst #3:[To Vinyl, again] "The real reason you don't say a
positive thing is that you do not know how...Why do you instantly think that
to do something constructive is somehow wrong.... you have a massive
inferiority complex! Anyhow.. I can not be bothered about selfish small
minded individuals such as yourself... so welcome to my killfile again!"

KP as Judge and Jury:
-"Piss off Conehead.... you are a moron... and in my kiilfile..."
-"Smee... you are a weak minded individual who has little credibilty outside
of this madhouse... Fuckwit!! and reinstated to my killfile..."
- [To IK] "You are in my killfile here... but you can email off the group...
you need help... I may be able to give some closure..."
(This last is one of my favourites for its sheer lunacy - "**** off, but do
call if you need help")

[And I'm proud to say, I even made the list...]
"Manning... I would have thought that people even in a m/c group would be
concerned over a childs molestation and death... apparently you do not
care....Its nice to know that as I am adding an idiot to my killfile I don't
have to deal with another selfish moron who doen't care for anyone but
themselves..."

Apologies to those who's passage into the KP killfile I have missed. I
couldn't find one for Clem or Theo, so sorry for that.

Yeah I did, but it was fun to put it together. Kind of cleared things up in
my own mind, plus it was entertaining to see the "Killfile Wall of Fame".

be getting really old because in the old days I used to enjoy a good flame

What manning wrote was things way out of context.... plus he added some
lies...

As far as the ot about the little girl, have a look at the thread... it
wasn't about bignoting... and I didn't flame.... that makes me a little
pissed off... I can understand people not liking some of my opinions but to
resort to lies is another story...

In some circles thats called slander...

I hope that there are still a few people here who can think for

You are right.

Calling you an "ignorant gimp" , however, might constitute libel. It would
only constitute libel however, if it could be proved to be a deliberately
false statement, merely being malicious and defamatory is not sufficient.
"Truth" has been an absolute defense against libel and slander charges since
1734. I'll take my chances on that one.
