A friend's just had her third KTM stolen in 18 months. It's a 525 EXC: Reg - CN54 WXR VIN - VBKRCA4065M433951 Distinguishing features: Lowered (she's 5 feet tall, so it's been dramatically lowered) Slight tear in seat cover No plate/indicators as it had been stripped down for motocross Scuffs on both hand guards It was stolen between 4am and 7am this morning. The bike was in a locked garage, chained to a ground anchor, had a disc lock on it and was fitted with an immobiliser alarm. The bike was nicked from east London. If any of you see someone riding a KTM that looks like the suspension's fucked (it's that low) or hear of any (too) cheap bits going, let me know, please. veggie_dave @ iq18films.com Oh, here are a couple of pics: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1259294&l=58635&id=666790553 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1259293&l=6069a&id=666790553 -- Veggie Dave UKRMHRC#2 BOTAFOF#08 IQ 18 FILMS http://www.iq18films.com POST PRODUCTION http://www.iq18films.co.uk Toxic Shock Syndrome Gets More Girls Than Me

Don't you think that "parading" the bikes ouside the house is a bit like advertising? Akin to telling the scrotes "Here's a couple of theivable items for you"? I never leave my bikes outside the house where any **** can see them. Straight in the garage unless it's locked, then I have to **** about, but still... -- Beav VN 750 Zed 1000 OMF# 19
How is having the garage door open 'parading'? -- Veggie Dave UKRMHRC#2 BOTAFOF#08 IQ 18 FILMS http://www.iq18films.com POST PRODUCTION http://www.iq18films.co.uk Toxic Shock Syndrome Gets More Girls Than Me
Nige in shock non understanding of how to work t' t'internet mularky. She's got a public profile mucker, no need to be added as a friend.
*perk* Maybe I /should/ join Facebook after all. -- TD 1991 VFR400R NC30 (black and red) 2001 ZX-9R (red and black) 1999 M5 (neither black nor red) Missing: SOB, Unreliable Italian exotica, Lardy tourer
Those bikes in the photo were being "paraded" for photographic purposes more than it being a case of just having a garage door open. It only takes one **** to see you taking pics of them to know they're likely to be good bikes and that they'll probably be in the garage later on. -- Beav VN 750 Zed 1000 OMF# 19
If you want to be a thick ****, don't let me stop you. Leave your bike outside where anyone can see where it lives, have it on display so you can take pictures of it at home, I really don't give a flying ****. -- Beav VN 750 Zed 1000 OMF# 19
