I refer Lady Nina, when she gets back from Germany by flight, train,
car, foot, hobble, crutches to this post from 21st April '09 which I
think she will probably count as Very Good Advice now, but advice
which probably didn't seem as applicable then as it is now:

Spoke with Lady N and Platy an hour or so ago on the phone and the
news embargo appears to have been lifted now that her kiddies know.

From my conversations with her good self and Platy she seems okay, but
isn't going to quite make Slovenia and certainly isn't going to be
dancing for a while. I wasn't there so will leave this to her to
discuss the details (when she gets back home from Germany, which might
be the middle of next week or perhaps the week after) as I don't want
to give out the specifics.

Her friends on Facebook will get some details from her recent status
update.

Apparently, the doctor in the German hospital did ask if she was a tester
from the TUV, trialling one of their prototype airbag suits. What a sexist
bastard.

 

I've had a few discussion with Kraut doctors, they a) have no sense of
humour and b) believe you are *there* to serve *them*.

But, otoh, they were guilty for slipping me mate a milk shake consisting
of a laxative and a muscle relaxant, which led to a) predictable
results, and b) much amusement.

 

So basically, you're just being a sanctimonious twat, but instead of
just posting 'told you so' you feel it somehow makes you look even
more superior by only alluding to your smugness instead of just using
normal language.

If you have any reason to suspect that she's somehow in trouble bynot
having an EHIC, then just say so. If not, shut the **** up.

 

I actually referred to it on the phone when I spoke to her earlier, and
said I would pull it up to show her.

I'm pissed off with Burnt for not leaving her half a bottle of Scotch
and a loaded gun to finish herself off and on top of that he's made a
half arsed attempt at concealing her bike rather than burning it.

I knew two days ago, and no 'news embargo' was mentioned to me. I
