  2. Oddly, mine seems to help in both departments, if The Doctor's reaction
    is any yardstick.

OK, just shut up before you start, you lot.

What, it helps you look ridiculous?
I can say nothing, having never met you IRL. The Doctor's horseradish
has recovered wonderfully as well though :)

Excellent. I'm thinking of dividing it into two pots, so one can be
harvested while the other is recovering.

  5. Oh, did we give you some as well?

You never spoke a truer word. In fact, I think when I get back home I'll
have to blitz it again, because it seems to be making a pincer movement
    attack on the flower beds.

In its favour, it is the best horseradish I've ever tasted.

I still have my ~93/94 vintage Joel Furr-designed "Green Card Lawyers
    - Spamming the Globe" t-shirt.

    Sad ****.

  9. You thinking of smuggling it into the US of A?

Give The Doctor a call if you're in the neighbourhood, and she'll give
you a fork and tell you to get on with it. I'm not back until Sunday
    next.

Not really, but it'll go well with the rest of the potted vegetables
that are cluttering up my garden.
    It's not that urgent...

    In communiqué <1iztb9y.c4dea01366gxgN%>,
Mine is fighting it out with the rampant strawberries[1]. It was a bit
late mounting its spring offensive, but is now going for the big push.
Having only tasted 'shop' horseradish already made in to sauce before my
experience is limited, but it certainly has bite.

[1] A very old variety originally taken as a couple of runners from
SWMBO's late father's last house and moved with us ten years ago. Not a
great abundance of fruit, but what survives the birds and slugs is very
dark read and toothsome. Not at all like those great bloated pale pink
creations on sale in supermarkets. The only drawback being that it
    spreads like, well your horseradish.

I took it out for MOT today and it took me back a bit riding an unfaired
bike at making-good-progress speeds. It can get a little bit wobbly too,
pulling on the bars probably doesn't help.

Part of the reason for getting it was to slow me a down, so I think that
may well work, at least until I start building up some different muscles.

It's brilliant around town, just what I needed.

Yep. Just a couple of bulbs gone which I had replaced anna bit of air in
    the front tyre.

He whinged about the front disc runout and front tyre wear but they are
    fine for now.

Tax was lower than I expected too which was a bonus. That, plus just 10
quid extra from Aunty Carole makes it pretty darn cheap.

However, I've just done the sums on the fuel etc. and there's not a
whole lot of difference between that and a season ticket on the train,
    so I'll have to see.

  19. I'm forbidden to shave mine off - whether it's because she likes beards
or because it hides the face better I'll leave to your fevered
