    All,

I'm very surprised that there has been no comment on Zebee's post (21/1) on
the MCC's submission on lane splitting and the proposed changes to the
    Australian Road Rules.

Does this mean everyone agrees with the Benefit / Cost calculations and
    other comments?

    Safe riding,

Might be an idea to read the other thread where a whole heap of people
posted what they had submitted Brian

And for that matter if you'd noticed all the postings about Cat you
might realise 2/3rds of aus.moto's regulars are en route to Tassie to
    bury one of our own.

Most of us have someone infinitely more important to worry about.

Bit surprised Al doesn't consider the banning of lane splitting important.

I thought the MCCs submission was excellent -- well presented, covered all
aspects and backed them up with evidence, which is more than can be said
for the original NTC proposal. The Victorian Automotive Chamber of
Commerce has also weighed in with an 18-page submission highly supportive
of canning the lane-splitting and under-eight pillion bans.

You just failed basic logic then Laurie. "More important" doesn't
quantify the relative importance in anyway other than to specify it as
of less importance than the primary item. Ie for you to conclude that
therefore Al was stating it was UNimportant or not important is
    erroneous and poor logic.

If you're not sure what that means, it means **** off on berating us for
not kissing arse about how fucking wonderful your fucking submission was
    OK ?

The topic's been done to death there's been a lot of good submissions
which all fundamentally say the same thing - the proposal is biased and
full of so many holes you cuold drive a truck through it. We've got it OK ?

I guess this means nothing to you, but someone that a lot of people
cared about was killed, most of ausmoto were at a funeral.

It was a mistake... not deliberate.

I don't think Cat would want people feeling bad about it...

Over and done with now ok.

    cheers
