Laughable would-be bike/car drags

And now for the flip side:

Driving a mates Audi TT quattro (1.8 l turbo) after a nice weekend at sofala
(he loaned it to me). I was taking it up the back roads around Londonderry
Drop Zone in Sydney. Came bursting down towards this right hand turn, saw
some big chookies about to pull out, they saw me, stayed put and I went
around the corner in third, poor gear choice.

Next thing I know I have a pack of these fuggen chookies on my tail, popping
mingers and all sorts of stuff in my rear mirror, applied the pedal. They
stayed with me no problem until it because decidedly unfair at around 160
onwards, afterwhich the Audi walked away from them. Bit of fun, noone got
hurt, and the boys had a squirt as well.

Now if it had of been a 600 roadbike behind me he would have passed me and
left me for dead.

That's a thought... although of course the thought that follows it is
"But why bother?" ;-)
