    New services:
    Dover-Boulogne from next July
    Le Havre-Rosslare (weekends only)

Extra sailings: from next month they have an extra weekday sailing from
Portsmouth to Le Havre and return. 12 noon from Portsmouth and 2300 from Le
    Havre.

For me, the midday sailing from Portsmouth is very attractive as I can
leave home at a sensible time, get on the boat at lunchtime. Have a meal
and read a book for a few hours and still get off in time to travel down to
Chartres or Alencon, for example, before dinner.

I'd much rather spend 4 hours sitting on a boat than riding across SE
England and NE France. Plus, I might be travelling to Portsmouth anyway, to
    collect the toll booth operative.

<perk> Overnight both ways Portsmouth-Le Havre now an option then. I
must admit the couple of times I went LD this year, during the daytime
crossing back it seemed to go on *forever*.

AOL. Presumably the 23:00 return is an overnight jobbie, docking at
    7ish?

0615 according to the table in the link I posted - seems a bit early but I
suppose the boat is operating on CET
