Is this worth the candle? Or is it like the old extended warrenty scammage?
My premium is down to £82 this year but the legal protection is a further
£25, which seems a lot in relation to the 82 quid. I'm with the RAC[1] and
so get some sort of legal thing I believe, so do I need the extra?

Legal protection is only required by stupid poor people.

You'd best have it then, Flash.

  5. Never worth it IMHO. They will only help you if you've got a good
chance of winning, which is when you're likely to be given costs
anyway. What they _do_ do is chase up paperwork etc if they decide your
    case is worth fighting.

IIRC www.ridersupport.com effectively gives you free legal cover if you
    do feel you need it.

flash emerged from their own little world to say
    Probably not.

The legal cover provided by AA membership was satisfactory for my mother's
personal injury claim. Having to use *their* solicitor based 80 miles away
in B'rum, was a PITA though.

My Carole Nash policy allows me to choose a legal representative.
