IMHO the Orthodox religions, I think RC is the largest of them, are
particularly fucked up. I'm referring to the belief that some of them
have divinely granted powers to sniff out and deify other mortals and
that others then get on their knees and bow down to them. It's on a par
with wearing 7 pairs of underpants.

No I think religion should be taught in the abstract at school. By the
time they are 16 common sense should have taken over.

 

T'School I went to did proper comparative religion RE - and very
interesting it was too. I still remember some of it (the Sikh '5 Iron'
rule etc).
