Len Vale-Onslow R.I.P

Len Vale-Onslow, aged 103 (9 days short of his 104th birthday)

ago.

 

Sad news. He was a pioneer.

I wonder what will happen to the shop now?
It looks like its falling down. There appears to be some interesting
vintage bikes in the window but as they (windows and the bikes)
haven't been washed for about 40 years its difficult to tell.

 

in recent years that's all his shop sold , I can remember the shop in its
hey day if Len couldn't fix it or if they hadn't got the part , nobody
could or would

 

So it's vale Len Vale-Onslow.

Anyone who wants a reciprocating widget for a Spagthorpe Whippet
will be out of luck. They have plenty in stock but young
Master Vale-Onslow always had to ask his dad where they were.

 

Out of interest, did the old boy survive his children? (If any)

 

I told him to wear his Damarts when he went out riding last month.

RIP. An inspiration to us all, IMHO.

 

He prolly caught the pneumonia in the hospital while he was in for something
else. That's what finished off my dad.
