not sure I've got the hang of it yet - was drinking Roussane last
    night - is that fitting?

I haven't had alcohol since Sunday. I think I'm taking this running lark
    way too seriously.

Perhaps if you scrawl 'tonic-wine' on the label.

Actually, work at my place is going swimmingly, I just didn't have
    anything interesting to do yesterday.

We're hiring if anyone knows WebSphere Portal & App Server[1]
development or infrastructure and fancies a consultancy role.

[1] And the various related gumph.

I had a few, and then my son decided it would be funny to be up all
night puking his guts up so I didn't get a whole lot of sleep.

I haven't had a beer in nearly 2 days now.

If it wasn't for the wine, I don't know how I'd have lasted so long.

  8. The last beer I had was about 6 months ago. But there has been a
considerable amount of cider (Redorderlig Rasberry and lime Cider goes
down really really smoothly), wine and (last night) a bottle of Port..
    Sobriety is a harsh mistress.

well, she drank all the fucking Leffe and Chimay we had in the house
last night, and is now suffering the consequences.

But, as it happens, I have sitting beside me an 18x284ml[1] bottle
pack of the aforementioned "Wifebeater" (Stella) - might sling some in
    the fridge for Ron.

[1] what an odd form factor.

    No, not really.
Two of them equates to the usual UK standard volume for beer...
