When you say suspended, do you mean disqualified by a Court? If you
have previously had a court disqualify you from driving, they will
generally take a dim view of someone who has effectively given them
them the middle finger and continued driving. In Queensland it is a
gaolable offence. Having said that, Magistrates here are reluctant to
imprison people except as a last resort and it seems to take a number
of disqualified drives before an actual term of imprisonment becomes
the only option. If, on balance, prison appears to be a possibility
there are probably other options such as suspended sentences (and in
Qld the likes of Intensive Corrections Orders). If money is a problem,
try and find a Community Legal Service who will provide you with
advice (but won't act on your behalf in Court).

    cheers, Bill

I didn't do the header check, I figured it had to be a forgery :)

Especially as "free holiday" isn't a common Bystander turn of phrase...

    You're a professional nut-sack-waxer, IK!?

Oh well, everyone has to make a living, I suppose.

  7. You know... People with bachelor of arts degrees flip burgers, it seems
like postgrad physics isn't any better career-wise...

Thanks guys the state of the offence is victoria. The exact details of
    offences are
    1) Loss of license for 3 months (2002)
    2) Loss of license for 6 months (2004)
    3) 72 in 70 zone
    4) Driving while suspended license.(2005)
Now I have never been to any court before and since i lost my license
in a period of 2 years twice or something to that effect I was on a
good behaviour bond wherein I had only 1 point which I lost due to the
3'rd offence. Now I am worried as I do not want a conviction and have
heard the best thing i can aim for is that I am fined humongusly but
the record is stricken and I come out with a clean record.

Nah, but "professional" is one of the words featured on the packaging
for this waxing kit I got from the chemist in anticipation of hearing
how the OP's court appearance goes.
