License upgrade

  1. My 18yr holds a full bike license (retsricted obviously) and wants to
    get his car license.

I know he needs to do a theory test but does he have to do a different
hazards perception test for car drivers ? I think he does, but I can't
find anything definate on the gov websites.

He has to do the Car theory test (which is pretty much the same as the
Bike one but with a few car specific questions) and he does have to
re-sit the Hazard Perception test again.

It's exactly the same Hazard Perception test he took for his Class-A.

It's sat at the same time as the Theory.
