    Hi all,

Did a search on Google but didnt find anything (yet). Does anyone know if
these three cameras actually calculate your average speed or not? I have
seen a few guys slow down for the cameras, pass them, and then speed up to
    the next one...

Did anyone get nicked yet for doing just that? It is painfully slow through
there late at night with not a single sod on the road.....

    TIA,
    Zeroaxe.

I don't know but I've never seen them flash if that helps.
I've accidentally gone over the limit in there, enough to get a flash I
thought but I've never seen them flash. Shame, it was a fucking good bit
    of road too :)

    Blimey, infra red?

So far so good. If what you're hinting at is that they detect average
speed then I scarededly backed off and stuck to or below the limit.
Giving it large spuds coming out going east sure makes up for it, but
    :)

  4. Any inaccuracy would always cause a lower reading than the actual
speed, so it works in the driver/rider's favour. Not something I would
point out to the prosecution in my defence!

I assume they don't detect average speed as I normally pass through them at
30mph and then 'resume normal service' between the cameras. I haven't had
any nasty letters through the post yet.

Wot I fort. I assumed he/you must be talking about a different one
from the one that flashed me one time (no NIP, despite 100+ speed).
