I went on a MAC course when I got my new Firestorm because it was free,
I lasted all of an hour before I fucked off at some roundabout or other
near Milton Keynes. The obnoxious arsehole doing the training was on a
fairly new red Blackbird and turned his nose up at my Scorpion race
cans then made me ride at the back.

I did one about 10 years ago. An entire weekend, one on one with a
smashing plod rider. Should've been another bloke but he didn't show.
First day sunshine, second day poured down. Never been so fast in the
    wet.

That's probably because they also had starting prices that were too high
and/or a reserve. I always start (9 bike auctions so far) with 99p and no
reserve. They all sold (one at £3,800 so they weren't all SOBs). I have
never had to sell substantially below my estimate of the bike's worth and 7
of the 9 subtsantially exceeded my expectations. The problem with Cane's
listing is that it is quite close to the real value. Bargain hunters will
always think they could get similar for a bit less. On the othe hand, if
they think they stand a chance of getting the kind of bike that they want at
well below its real value thye are likely to have a punt. When outbid they
tend to think "its only a bit more" and have another go. My last bike
auction had 24 bids, of which 10 were on the last day.

18 watchers and a few questions. Seems like a good start.

That's 'cos he was hoping it would make three grand, on a last minute
    flurry of activity.

I went to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria once to check out the
    archaeological museum.

    It was shut.

Not just the museum. The whole town. All of it.
