Michael & I picked her up from the hospital this morning and delivered
her to Hulland Ward for breakfast.

I dropped her back off at the hospital a couple of hours later for her
to get discharged and pick drugs up.

I've not heard this hasn't happened so I assume she'll pop in shortly
    after a nap.

She is well, ranting and eating and has seen her first two hurling
    matches.

  8. I think there was some ranting in Waterford.
    Not unconnected, then.

Between 1:30 and 4:30, she went from `what's this then?' to `that must
be dangerous' to `referee!' to `could they not slack off a bit and at
least make it look like a game'.

Total conversion in 3 hours... I'm impressed!

Being the type of person who refuses to pay anything other than the TV
licence fee, I haven't seen any hurling or Gaelic football for a few
years - and, boy, do I miss it!

search hurling final and it will appear soon, I've no doubt - there are
    previous games there.

  12. My locals' landlady is from Waterford. Lots of ranting going on at the
    pub too.

  13. I've got google groups working on the lap top (breaking my own no
internet in the bedroom rule) and now I can post whilst naked in my
own glorious, lovely, wonderful, fantastic bed.

    It's good to be home.

Thank you for cards, wishes etc. Thanks particularly to Adie who has
been a star these last few days.

I shall not embarass myself or himself by going slushy about how much
having your hand held whilst drugged out of your skull means.

Now I need to figure out how to make google groups do what I want
    rather than what it wants.

  14. Pah. Smaller number, different letter sweetie.

Oh and 8 stone 13lbs this morning, there are some advantages to 10
days of no food. I intend to stuff my face and regain my usual dumpy
self very soon but when I'm older I'd like to remember that yes I did
    once weigh under 9 stone.

As opposed to those of us who post whilst naked in our glorious,
    lovely, wonderful, fantastic office?
Welcome home - not sure you should think of UKRM as home though. That's
    just weird.

  16. It was so good just to have a taste of the outside world. Thanks.
I have the antibiotics that you can't have alcohol with - boo hiss!
I watched the hurling, ate real food, had teenage woes to deal with,
ex husbands to berate, then finally a little bit of Babylon 5 and bed.
    It was a busy day.

    Well done that liver, btw.
    Innit, just.

  20. I want to go to a match now. I've never wanted to go to a live sports
    event before.
Oh now there's something I can do.
The junior final was a better game, but for an absolute slaughter with
just utter speed, skill and precision I think the senior was one of
those go down in history games.

However even when they were loads ahead the kilkenny lot were cheating
by breaking rules so i've decided I don't like them.
