Very nasty. I wasn't allergic, but I'm one of the ones that they make
    feel sick.

    *Very* sick.

I thought at first it was something else as I'd been taking them for a
few days. I couldn't keep anything down at all, even water, and
whenever I'm sick I get loads of broken bloods vessels in my face and
neck. A day or so later I started itching so much I had to wrap myself
in wet towels, which is when I phoned the doc (well, NHS Direct, who
got my on-call doc to ring me).

The doc said that sometimes if you've had them before you can have an
adverse reaction; I was taking two different sorts at the time and he
told me that was the one to stop. It took 48 horrible hours before I
stopped feeling like I was rolling in nettles.

Because I'm hoping to only be on bed rest for a couple of days. I'm
downstairs atm (lured by a freshly cooked ham and mushroom omlette)
and it's lovely to read news in agent on a big screen and not having
to balance a keyboard on my knees.

Horrid things. In the end, they dug out the filling that seemed to be
causing the problem and re-filled it. Touch wood, all seems to be well now.
