Who's going to one of them, which one and which day?

I'm going to do my obligatory spend money on bike bits day at one of
the shows and at the moment the favourite is the Ally Pally version
rather than the Excel one if only because MCN is sponsoring the Excel
    one.

Adie hasn't made her mind up yet but don't let that influence your
decision making process and I'll be going on the train so I can drink
and be an idiot but don't let that influence you either. No way can I
behave as badly as Bear managed to at the NEC a few years ago.

Ally Pally dates are Friday 26th - Sun 28th January and the Excel ones
are the following Thurs - Sun inclusive. I'd sooner go on a Friday to
    avoid schoolchildren.

Hmm, I need to get to one of them.

The fact that you have to pay for parking at Excel (for cars) is fucking
annoying. That said, what will sway it will be the quality of exhibitors -
you can see who will be at the Excel one but Superbike haven't posted
details on their site as to who will be at Ally Pally. Won't bother will
Ally Pally if it's going to be stuffed full of cheap market leathers.

I'll probably go on a Sat though, possibly a Friday.

I'll probably do Ally Pally because it's easy by train and I can get
    pissed. Not sure what day.

    following:
    There's bike shows in London?
That's a lesson for life, not just for Christmas.

Two out of three in the car might disagree.
It wouldn't rank alongside my top ten either but there are some
sensitive souls around who might already be concerned about being in
the same place as me yet alone me trying to be you iyswim.

What possible diference could that make? Excel is a far better venue
    IMO.
    Heh, that was funny.

I'll always remember that as a fun day out.
Is that how they got the refueling rig for Team UKRM?

I could be inclined to take a half day off work and do the Friday at
Excel, as the job puts me roughly in the right area anyway, and I could
    do with a cheap lid.

I'm waiting to see the final list of which exhibitors will be where
but travel is easier for me to Ally Pally and being a luddite I like
    Ally Pally.

Not for me it isn't. I've got to get the train whichever one I go to
so it's down to which one has the best stands, which is the easiest to
get to and which has the best bar. Being sponsored by MCN loses points
from the start because they're the cunts that assumed that wherever
they wanted the show to be is where it would end up and consequently
we now have two shows over shorter durations than the previous show.

Sounds like a plan. Looking at the websites, the Ally Pally show looks a
bit Butlins compared to the ExCel one (which also has Chris Pfeiffer
stunting in the arena). But so long as I can save some wedge on a lid
    I'm easy.

Someone make a call, eh? I need to book the time off and make sure I'm
not stuck on-call when I want to be out misbehaving.

    Ally Pally.

Only because it's 16 times easier for me to get to.
