Will be there, except for near-death disaster
    type scenarios forthcoming.

AOL. On-call this week. Also having to miss a jolly to England vs USA as
well (bit of a pisser having spent the last year working on the RWC
    project, too.)

That reminds me - I met my first ukrmers over London drinks, at the
FOB - including you, Doc Gonz0 and TOG. That was some years ago.

This time round we were intending not to come on account of us being
in Washington. Instead we're planning not to come on account of us
holidaying in Tenby - thence by car to the EOSM. The shame of it!

Indeed. Remember it well, my brother directed you to parking in Shoe
    Lane. Overdue a rematch certainly.
Oh I dunno. I use my cars or bikes as I feel fit or as the need
arises. I still ride the bike pretty much every day of the year so I
don't feel the need to prove anything!

  8. Could hardly be _further_ away for me (stretching the truth slightly;
    I'm only 8 hours different, not 12).

Surely it would have been quicker to walk?

Took me my usual 15 mins to get in. I hadn't realised there was a strike
    until I got in.

No idea on the there, but for the back I'd go for some oyster card
    madness and take...

A bus thru the Blackwall Tunnel (108?)
Nice strike free automatic DLR, Blackwall to Tower Gateway or Bank.
    Walk to pub.

I think they'll have quite a bit of walking to do.

I'll have to search for bus routes, which will be equally packed, I
    think.
