Cough. The FJR comes with them as standard equipment and they're
    very nice quality.

    Just sayin'.

  3. Christ. I parsed the headline as 'custom fitted panty liners'.

I shall be employing the 'double bagging' method for the French Run,
though for tank bag and tail pack rather than panniers. Big tough
plastic carrier bag as a liner, then clothes inside smaller thinner
plastic carrier bags inside that. I don't use the 'shower caps' that
were supplied with luggage as IME they flap about too much and tear
themselves to shreds. The proof of the pudding will be digging out my
hopefully dry stuff on Friday evening. Doesn't matter if it gets wet on
the way back and this strategy has worked on several monsoon season
trips to Pahnd Island. Makes me wonder how I used to manage in the days
when ex-army canvas panniers were the most luxurious luggage I could
afford. Hats off in salute to Sten Gustaf Thulin (well according to
    Wikipedia anyway).

Crikey. I just stuff everything in a black bin bag and put it in the
    tailpack. Hasn't failed me yet.

Have you tried doing that in a hot country in the summer? I did once -
    never again.

Good point fairly made with regard to the flimsy supermarket ones you
get these days. My eyes aren't as good as they used to be.

<re-packs using more robust store type carrier bags saved from earlier
    trips>

Clothes bunged into the nice zip-up BMW pannier inners I bought off
Scraggy. Odds and sods chucked in the topbox. Job done, all ready to
be spilled across Dover Harbour if I encounter the same rubbish truck.

I bet your pannier liners don't match your pannier carpets. :)
    Ooh. Must get there early.

I'll be using bin liners to try and ensure my luggage remains dry but
if you're after sturdy carrier bags shop at Seewoo.
