  3. No they don't, if they lift, it's when you accelerate. Unusual feeling the
    back lifting when you take off, but you adapt.

  5. Not since my XJ750 in this case, but even the paralevers dont lift when you
    back off.

    The XLV did that a bit, but it was only really noticeable if you
    were taking off against the front brake ... eg: steep hill starts
    (or burnouts, I suppose, but it wasn't much good at them ... the
    front wheel just slid along ...)

    The GS doesn't seem to do it at all, thanks to the paralever I
    presume.

    Neither of them seem to 'squat' under power though.
