Looks like the garage vacuum got the better of me...

After selling a few bikes I had hoped I could behave and not buy any
more bikes in the near future but of course that wasn't going to happen,
    was it?

That'll be another Italian V-twin, then...

It's a fine looking one too. Glad you got it!

I keep forgetting that UKRM(C) lurks everywhere :). The most annoying
bit is that there's another Morini on fleabay right now that also is on
my "to buy" list but I think I'll settle for "just" this one, stick the
original hardware back on, possibly get the paint sorted and if I still
feel halfway rich after that, stick the correct silencers back on.

    In communiqué
Hmm, wire wheel disk brake. Rare those are. The hubs used to be much
sought after by Forgotten Era racers (proper ones, not our hill climb
regs which have a much later cut off year of 1984).
Hope all the idiosyncratic ignition bits are in fine fettle. A rewound
stator and new NLM type universal ignition coil pack have transformed
    mine.

  7. Look, will the two of you just SHUT UP.

Or you'll get me blowing my money on another disastrous Morini. We all
know what happened to the last one.

I don't really see the problem here, but I'd try to get one with a
    decent exhaust this time :).

  10. It did, too, and not for anything that I grumbled about. It was sorted
into an MoT'd runner, and the **** negged me because the charging system
    failed after he'd bought it.

It had been demonstrated in front of him as having a functioning
charging system - which it indeed possessed.

And then he quietly offloaded it a few months later with the most
weaselly evasive description I've ever witnessed.

    Again. ****.

upgraded electrics, Cibie headlamp, nearly new tyres plus new spare
pair. 33000km on the clock and very good mechanical order. Pics
available. Hounslow area. I'm hardly riding it, so a gift at £1250.
