    Look good to me!
Did you try any at slower shutter speeds?

Rob, occasionally you're just wrong on so many levels, but the world
    needs people like you :)

The only place I started dropping the shutter speed was at Glen Helen.
The thing about the TT circuit is you want some background interest to
show they're not just tight shots at Donington etc.

My problem was I only seemed to end up with sharp shots of the bikes
when I shot them full frame. Whenever I went for interesting
composition with some background interest the bike was always slightly
OOF. I also tried some really slow shutter stuff with plenty of
landscape but there was never enough contrast to get a good shot (for
    me anyway).

Because it's your fault, *everything* is.

I take your point. I really like the portrait ones with the sea in the
background. Unusual but really nice. Oh and this one IMG_8737.jpg.
I take it you had centre focus point selected?
You probably know this but the 20D can have focus issues out of the
factory. Mine improved greatly after being calibrated - which was done
    under warranty FOC.

Yes I was always using centre point. I've heard of back focus issues
with many L lenses and the 120-300 is reported to be fundamentally
flawed, but I've not heard anything about specific problems with the
20D body. Mine is out of warranty now but I may send it in for
calibration and a clean at the end of the year.

TBH I wasn't too impressed by Hillberry. Perhaps because it's a
fairly open corner with the long run down from the Creg you loose some
of the sensation of speed. Certainly a bottle corner, especially
given oil had been spilt just before practice. In the Lougher shot
you can see him caning it straight through the cement dust, bonkers!
