Lozzo, you are a star!

  1. It's a different bike, mate. I feel like I can actually ride the
thing, it feels lighter, more controlable, more responsive, even
    steers better!

There'll be a couple of pints of Black Russian for you in Derbyshire.
Esp now I reckon I might actually get there...

    Thank you!

Thanks to Pip for the tea and 'night-rider' advice. See, I got home
OK, and only slightly scared myself once.)

And thanks to Elly for the amusement that is the rat bike. Have fun
(or should it be good luck?) with that one.

I think it needs a 'Tetley' badge on the exhaust can

  4. Well, if it all goes wrong, it'll make an 'interesting' extra for your
    teapot!

  5. 'tis nice, innit. And a fruity exhaust as well. Just a shame
    it's too small for me...

Sounded amusing down the phone anyway!

    'S a bugger, innit.
Oh, was that you? Oops. Elly took it for a first spin up and down
our road last night, see. She couldn't ride it when we picked it up
due to the location, then when we got home it was too late - then
there was the flat batt and front tyre to sort, so last night was her
first chance and a phone in use wasn't going to stop us ;-)
By 'eck it's loud. Nice to ride, though.

Nah, coz then i could have added "and can manouevre the bike when
parking." I still prefer [1] to get off and wheel it around.

[1] for prefer, read 'have to'

  13. I'm sure there's a meaning to that that's whoosing over me at
the minute, but Will is a bit frustrated about the lack of
road legal bike at the minute rather than anything else.
