There was talk of that in Qld too (but it may have just been
    electioneering)

Really? I find that hard to believe. Happy to be shown to be wrong.
In which direction? I'll get out my measuring wheel when I get back from
    Canberra.

Speaking of which, I took some happy snaps of the road side furniture around
where I live, you'll have a good laugh!
Umm, I'll take the one that is most offensive?

They are talking about a volunteer program for people without access to a
licensed driver and car. I haven't seen any details, and I suspect it's
just so they can trot it out when people ask the question you just did...

Of course you find it hard to believe, you think you Albury-Wodonga are two
small country towns. That would be why they're called "cities".
Four largest cities/towns in WA outside the Perth Metro area are,
    Kalgoorlie/Boulder 36000
    Albany 32000
    Bunbury 30000
    Geraldton 21000

The four of them together would be more populous that Albury/Wodonga.
    You happy?
"within 1 km" suggests in every direction. And to think I thought you were
    pedantic about grammar.
    Send away.
That would be the Alker-Jones's. :-()

Um, no. If you knew your history, you'd be cognisant of why Albury-Wodonga
has been referred to as the "growing place", why it exists and what
projected population it was due to have by the year 2000. Dare I say it
failed because of big city thinking?
    Thanks, bigger than Wodonga.
I'm always happy, (or is that Hangry), but it again shows that you see
Alb/Wod as purely numbers on a page and that that does not accurately
    reflect what it is.

Actually, three of them would be more populous.
No your thinking is rong thats smeE.

It was funny at the time as there is a big hill and I was thinking of people
living in caves and the like. Like I said, it was funny at the time. You
know following the topographical, ah never mind.
It'll be when I get back home.
    Cutting!

    Hammo

Speaking of which, did you spend time at Bonegilla?

Your neighbours live in caves? Hmmm...
Never heard of it. ..... Ahh, a migrant reception centre. No, We arrived in
Fremantle, were bused to Northam migrant reception centre that night, and
went to "the house my dad built" the next day.

There's a nice tenpin bowling alley in Geraldton. I rolled some good
    games there, too!

If I was being helpful I'd have suggested that you google "105%
mortgage", but instead I was doing you a favour by not trying to make
you look too stupid to think of that for yourself.
