    Hi All,

Well the bike's been on the road for about a month now and all is good (I am
getting funny looks from other motorists when I ride though due to me
grinning like an idiot!). Only problem I've got is what to do with my kit
when I park up - which is where I need some suggestions.

Really I need something that will hold my crash helmet (BMW System 4 Flip
Front) and jacket when I'm off the bike. I'm not too sure on getting a top
box from an aesthetic point of view so was thinking along the lines of hard
panniers - if they'll take the helmet. I've looked online and at dealers but
they don't seem to have much of a selection so I'm not really sure what to
    go for.

On a side note I realise that panniers/top box aren't that secure however I
feel the risk of loosing my kit to theft is probably lower than doing it
damage (helmet in particular) by carrying it around with me - besides I
could always buy an Alsatian and chain him to the bike :)

    Many Thanks

    Wot he said.

Or, if you really want, you can gt little bags for carrying helmets in [1]
Why do you consider it to be so much at risk from damage carrying it around?

    [1] no, not rubber ones

    Only problem I've got is
Helmet on helmet lock, and then a chain through arms of jacket and then
wheels. Works well in the dry, and not as bad as you might think in the wet.
Plus wear shorts under the jeans, and you can then chain the jeans up the
    legs as well.
