The guy who won my old Wessex chair on Ebay has just collected it and
he was a total fucking nutter. Apparently he's going to stick it on a
Hayabusa for high speed touring and after my first impression that he
was full of shit his other half told me that he's an ex white helmets
rider with his own workshop and has built a couple of similar missiles
    before.

He plans to fit a brake to the sidecar wheel to a) help it steer and
    b) drag it down from high speeds plus he wants to fit a smaller wheel
and drop the height by a couple of inches to get more speed.

I'm glad it's gone to a nutter and he knows *exactly* what he's picked
up because he told me that I was wrong to think only 30 of them were
made; there were only 8 of them and his mates are already cursing him
for being the first one to spot it on Ebay and their 'gentleman's
agreement' prevented them bidding against each other.

Now to flog the K100 and start considering potential purchases...

I will be flogging a rather nice 400 Four in black with gold trim soon.
That sorts out the "pretty" bike.

And for continental invasions and similar fuckwittedness sir needs one
    of these http://www.f2motorcycles.ltd.uk/uralcombo.html

    Suits you sir, YKIMS

No it doesn't. I've got an outfit based around a very capable tourer
and I don't use it so why the **** would I want an agricultural piece
    of shit like that?

I have a BMW-loving mate in Ampthill with cash in his pocket, who is
looking for a combo. Are you interested (if so, I'll put you
together), or do you want to eBay it?

I was going to drop you an email a couple of weeks ago and forgot but
now I've had a reminder I'll sort it out.

I'd sooner just shift it as it is and take a small hit on it but if I
can't get enough I'll get it tested and Ebay it. I know it's worth
more broken and sold as parts but I'd sooner someone got it cheaper
    and actually used it.

I thought you were just waiting till you got home. No probs.
That's what I thought. Do the email thing, I'll fill him in and if he
wants to, I'll let him have your number.

I saw he'd bought something off you and meant to ask him what he had
    planned for it.

  11. Fucking *excellent*. I do hope he stays in touch to let you know how it
ended up. And where the crash happened.

  12. Isn't it amazing how three nutters have managed to come together so
    fast?

If I did it would be to break it. We broke a running MOT'd 1986 K100 at
work a few weeks ago, within 4 days we'd trebled our money on it by
flogging the parts on ebay. The spares sell surprisingly well, even
better than I thought they would.
