  1. Just phoned M&P to find out where the indicators that I ordered 2
months ago were and was told that her system said "there is a 120 day
    lead time on them".

Funny they didnt tell me that when I ordered them, just that they
werent in stock. Still I expect when they arrive the latest type of
indicators will be HID based systems and all motorbikes will be
    powered by hydrogen power.

And there was me thinking that I got bad service when I waited over 4
weeks for a gasket set for a super-rare "number 0001 on the headstock"
    suzuki gs125.

So, can anyone recommend a good company to deal with that also has a
good website and the ability to deliver goods?

    Ta muchly.

I ordered 3 litres of coolant from them at the NEC last Sunday which I have
yet to see, although the sheep shaggers have debited my card.

That's the last they'll see off my money!

    <snip>

Someone has replaced the management with the two crusty old guys from
    The Muppet Show.

M&P used to be good[1], now they're shit[2]. Letter to the MD, it's the
    only way.

[1] a couple of years ago someone phoned me up outside of office hours
to let me know that the chain I'd ordered was being substituted for one
of identical cost and spec' because the first was out of stock. If I
wanted the first one I'd have to wait a week. Normal postage took no
    more than 3 days.

[2] not contacted me to let me know the price advertised on the internet
was wrong and just charged the higher amount anyway. Paid for next day
delivery, it arrived a week later. The website worked until I'd entered
a few items then kept bringing up Page Not Found errors and I had to
    start again.

  5. Illegal. If you can't supply, you shouldn't charge.

    Get onto the CC company.

Not much use to you really, but I waited 3 months for some brake pads.
Forgot that I'd ordered them and got them elsewhere long before they turned
up!! Even forgot they'd had me wonga at the time of ordering!
Sad state of affairs this mail ordering thing nowadays ;o(
