Made To Measure Leathers

  1. You are welcome.
The mere mention of which means it can only be a matter of time before
it becomes common knowledge on ukrm. ;-)

    Interesting.

Would you please elaborate a bit as to the nature of the complaints and
the time frame involved (there have been significant changes recently)?

They get consistently good write ups in the mags and honestly, you are
the only person I've encountered who has anything bad to say about them.

I'm just about to drop a load of dosh on what will probably be my 'Suit
of a Lifetime' and I'd prefer it turn out well.

I was thinking about BKS but even they aren't perfect and Hideout is
    nearby.

If there are any caveats that might overturn my own positive experience
with them, now is the time for me to hear them.

    All the best,
    Tom

I'd advise anyone takes Paul's advice over mine any day. He is one of
the world's foremost authorities on motorcycle safety clothing.

For the record - Despite saying the budget wouldn't expand...

I did go for MJK - got measured Wednesday.

Yes, the whole experience was very comforting

The quality of the kit on display seemed very high

The infamous Graham obviously knows his business.

He takes his time over the measurements which gives the confidence the final suit
will fit right and he obviously lives and breathes customer service.

I fully expect the final result will live up to the fitting and can see why he
    gets recommended.

Having said that, as expected, I won't be coming away with much change from 1000ukp.

Once the suit arives I assume that limit will go with armour upgrades etc.

Why did I expand the budget?

I could not find any recommendations anywhere for either leathertechuk
or Beconi, the makers I orignally came seeking info on.

If I could have found a single independent reccomendation for either of these
I would probably have taken a chance on them.

    Cheers
