  4. Sadly, I haven't any spare cash for the foreseeable, the bike I have has
just been sorned (it needs some work on the engine anyway) 'cos the tax
renewal turned up at an inconvenient moment.

Have you got 17 children, or an out of control cocaine habit, or
something? Your constant refrain is "I have no money".

YAY - both sold waiting collection so I have space for a new toy/project.
So what is available, ISTR someone (Champ?) had a surplus 400/4
    hanging around a while ago.

Suggestions welcome, preferably with a leccy foot and not too big.

Hmmm - quite possibly, whoever it was bought one on a BIN while he was
on holiday, picked it up a few weeks later, and decided it was not as
nice as the one he already had.

Ah, wasn't a dig. Just found it funny to say the above :)
I mean it's going to be quite famous that bike soon. It'll be seen all
    over the country...............

  14. I'm now left with the rolling chassis and the brakes.

The wheels have been recently rebuilt and re-spoked, so they'll go up on
    eBay.

The rear tyre is going on The Boy's 250 Super Dream.

The forks... well, they're OK. Some minor pitting but they don't leak.
I'll stick 'em up for £4.99 and no reserve.

Anyway, I'll be stripping down the last bits this weekend, so I'll take
off the disc spat and it'll be on it way.

That'll just leave the frame and V5 (oh, and a new MoT....). £4.99 and
    no reserve, again.

  16. Yes, it is. With V5 and on an R plate. From experience, they sell for
    about £35. Want it?
