That'd be me then.
And me. Well, in a week or so.

I'm easily led astray. Will be ordering it on Tuesday. From what the chap was saying I might be lucky and get one for Saturday, otherwise it'll be Wednesday the following week.
I went to see a mate playing with his 1/5th scale Monster Truck and unfortunately it was close to Rivington Barn, a well known haunt for bike riders. As I got closer to the place, the number of bikes being ridden by twats rose exponentially until it was almost like being behind a shie instructor with 10 ducks in a row. I was glad of the rest I got watching a nutter play with his toys. Later on I called at another pal's place to see how he was getting on with his new hobby of powered paragliding and his son was on the drive getting ready for his first ride of the year (well since early November). New year, new bike (a Zed thou) and a new pal on a VTR. I watched them wobble off down the road and wondered if they'd make it back home. I also think thise riders have pissed off a lot of motorists too, because there was a definite attitude shift between last week and this from the drivers. -- Beav VN 750 Zed 1000 OMF# 19
But you aren't a slow idiot. They're the cunts. I'm glad I don't have to either. -- Beav VN 750 Zed 1000 OMF# 19
Hmm, not the one I was thinking about. Leather 'race' suits matching the bike paint job [1]. In ability to do just about anything on a bike etc etc. [1] Which is kind of important for them to be power rangers, surely? -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 COSOC#3 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) Alfa 116 Giulietta 3.0l (Really) Sprint 1.7 75 TS 156 TS S2 Suzuki Bandit 600 #Triumph Speed Triple: Black with extra black bits (I live in hope) www.cuore-sportivo.co.uk
I rarely see riders wearing leathers that match their bikes but that might be because I don't frequent places like Rivington Barn or Box Hill and I can honestly say that apart from 'owners club' type groups the slowest riders I see on the road are always on naked bikes. I don't really give a flying **** how slowly another rider is going because I ride a bike that doesn't make it difficult to get past anyone that isn't riding as fast as I want to and in my opinion anyone being held up by a slower rider needs to either buy a faster bike or brush up on their overtaking skills.
Indeed, or perhaps get out of the car and leave the wife and mother behind. -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 COSOC#3 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) Alfa 116 Giulietta 3.0l (Really) Sprint 1.7 75 TS 156 TS S2 Suzuki Bandit 600 #Triumph Speed Triple: Black with extra black bits (I live in hope) www.cuore-sportivo.co.uk
I went for a bimble up to the classic bike show at Great Malvern this morning. Lots of sportsbikes around, not many of which returned my nods. I assume this was because they were too busy remembering how to ride to either notice or respond. Or maybe they feared the Wing. At the show there was an enormous number of Harleys, mostly frighteningly clean and shiny, and a few outfits, including the one Champ photographed the other day. -- platypus "Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative."
Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, ginge Ginge is going to buy a 10R... Well, I guess that's it then. They really are lardy old buses. Ha, beat you by a day After making that mistake both last year and the year before, I made my first trip a slow trip to the garage on the Zed for some air. OK, when I got there I couldn't remember the pressures so I put "some" in, then did the faster than usual on the straights and slower than usual on the corners thing on the way home. And I even managed to get the Zed in the garage at the end of the day rather than having to bother my lovely neighbour who has been garaging it since last summer :-/
On that topic, what are On Yer Bike like to deal with? (ISTR your Ducati was purchased there.) It looks like they're doing a decent deal, and if Pidcocks won't match it then I'll probably go to them with my £99. http://www.onyerbike.net/kawasaki/index.htm
Grief, I've been whittering on about this for about three months. I'm running a half marathon for these people: http://www.julianhouse.org.uk/ Actually, that's bollocks, I'm running it for myself but am being sponsored for them. Looked at a drug rehabilitation charity first but it seemed too tied up with government propaganda to meet my criteria for 'deserving'.
I've been out of my mind for a while. I'd happily give them a tenner but I don't see anyway to actually donate from their website.
Wotcha. So I noticed - on the way back from the bike show at Malvern - decided to carry on home rather than queue for a cuppa ;-)
