  2. I thought that Triumph had sacked him as a rider, just after he gave them
their only podium finish for a few years

Of course, when I read: "Aerodynamics - CX 0.22, with a rider CX 0.27"
my immediate thought was, 'with some of the riders down here, CX 0.46'

    On Feb 8, 12:44 pm,
No one here will admit to having now, or ever having had in the past,
    a CX.

And I thought "so what's the aerodynamics of a laden CX 500 then?"

    I will!

I didn't own it, I was looking after it for a while. Including taking
it to Melbourne a time or two.

Don't knock the Maggot, damn fine bike.

There's still one doing courier duty in Sydney. I noticed him about 4
years ago and thought "wow, still going!", and yes, he still is.

Come the apocolypse the world will be left to cockroaches and
    CX500s...

    CX's don't actually last forever...

It just feels like they do :)

European of course, they never made an Afrisport!

    Sort of...

but I'm not sure most people get to experience the embarrassment of
riding their mother in law (Tasmanians excepted).

They should've though... it would've fit right in in the land of the
    Hippo, Rhino and Warthog!

But not of the Whippet, the Wolfhound and of course the Poodle,
although the latter probably wouldn't have fitted in anywhere given
the seat shape and most countries' obscenity laws.

Yes, except that people get attached to their CX's.

Again... we probably should point out the Tasmanian exceptions to this rule.
