The meeting started just a bit slow, last night.. Mike Alvey and his wife were visiting with this Chapter, and they were very welcome.. Many thanks to them both, for taking time from their own very busy schedule to show support for the DFW Chapter.. Mike was good enough to bring everyone up to speed on the District Advisors state meeting.. From that point, the meeting really progressed into an interesting question and answer session .. The issues that were addressed at the DA meeting were discussed and elaborated on.. All the good brothers and sisters at this meeting discussed their own issues that concerned them, while the issues of each district were hashed over.. As usual.. Mike very ably fielded each question and/or comment .. Gary Brookman, the editor of our own Warrior publication was also there and his input, again contributed to the excellence of the meeting which Elmer chairs.. All those who attended this informative and interesting meeting should be commended for taking the time to help make this meeting a success.. Elmer is always a virtual fountain of information for facts and data which most of us never consider.. Needless to say.. Mike Alvey never ceases to amaze me, with his boundless energy and enthusiasm, Mike is always moving and contributing.. We can all be grateful that these brothers are amongst the leadership of TMRA II .. Their work is never ending .. There is always one more detail for them to address.. which they do so well.. It should be pointed out .. that the brothers and sisters who work so tirelessly at TMRA II, do so because of their dedication to the brotherhood and love of motorcycles.. The efforts are strictly voluntary and unpaid.. TMRA II Chapters across Texas, are made up of brothers and sisters just like these.. Attend a meeting with a Chapter near you.. If there isn't one, then look into the possibility of creating a new Chapter.. There have been several new Chapters initiated just this past year.. These dedicated brothers and sisters need your support .. Your friend in Irving Bill Walker
