Time for new chain and sprockets for my Blackbird.

I'm down here from Sydney so this will be my first work done here on the
    bike.

Which of the Elizabeth St workshops do people recommend?

I do keep hearing Bike Barn and Garners mentioned.

    thanks in advance

Redwing Honda Heidelberg. They've moved premises in the past week or so...
Workshop and sales all under the same roof now... still on Bell St but about a
few hundred metres further up the hill... in the building previously occupied
by the police while the new police station was being built. They have off
    street parking there too.

I haven't been to Bike Barn and my other experiences with Elizabeth St
workshops have been less than satisfactory, so no recommendations as such.

Garners is in Nth Melbourne just down the road from the Peter Stevens
    workshop, not Elizabeth St.

I haven't had any mechanical work done at Garners, but I have bought a
bike from Eddie Garner and I'd recommend him as being an honest,
    straightforward guy, IME.

    Cheers.

...and who was complaining about the $2000 excess on test rides last week.
Garners will charge you $4000 excess on a Harley Davidson. None of their
bikes are insured for theft. makes the $2000 excess for the blade blasts
    positively cheap !
