Look at the pics, look in Google for a post of mine with a sig which
lists the bikes, eliminates it down to two, get addresses, bingo.

The addresses are apparently easy to get, and I know people here who
have dug out names and addresses that they technically shouldn't have
been able to (not from reg nos IIRC but the principals the same -
getting access to databases we're not supposed to be able to access) so
I have no reason to think the DVLA is staffed by intelligent people.

IIRC he did have ?300 taken out of his account by direct debit though
didn't he? The fact the bank would have refunded it via the DD
guarantee only means that the accounts nicely topped off again for the
crim to do it again. They don't care if you've got insurance (or a DD
guarantee).

 

I could have done with one of those when I was tendering for contracts
to supply Vauxhall and others with factory fit leather trim. We could
have brought our production costs down enough to be very profitable,
instead of cutting each hide on a press, which was time consuming.

Fortunately the only damage seems to be a couple of scratches on the
pannier and one valve cover.

Note to self: If you think the main stand may not have locked on
properly, chances are that's because it hasn't...
