What a shame that the smell of a paraffin powered Pan couldn't be
    captured.

  7. Time will tell. He added some more unleaded just before Calais, and it
was sounding happier. I reckon he's lucky and got away with it.

I went there also, pictures are still on the camera. The sheer scale
of the carnage always leaves me shocked. The museum in Ypres was very
    good also.

Only got a passport check on the way home. No request to remove lid,
just a good stare at my eyes, followed by a frown, when I went
cross-eyed with boredom... Got yanked in for a search on the way out,
    though.
    Man's a bloody star!
    Ho yus!

Massive thank you to TOG for organising it all, a most enjoyable
weekend, despite getting 1/2 mile from home, wondering why my zed
suddenly felt like it had a hinge in the middle, and discovering a
nail sticking out of the new rear tyre I had fitted last Thursday !
Still, it could have happened in France and been a real PITA.

Some pics are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/speedgazebo/ and a
video from dinner (excellent) last night is here :http://

Just think how much more pissed you could have been if you'd managed
the leffe rather than the stella.

Is there any specific reason that some of the stones are laid in
different groups to the main groups? And the directions, etc? Some of
the layouts were quite strange, with one or two stones together, stones
    alone, etc, etc.
