I'm sure that in years of yore I travelled to France using just a
piece of paper obtained from a Post Office.

    Oh, and a ferry.

  6. Yes, you used to be able to get some sort of day pass, didn't you?
Forgotten that. Can't remember what it was called, either.

    eh? Why?

I'm not the only one showing numberplates. Which one was yours? I'll
remove yours at least. Others on request, but FFS.

Oh I so wish I hadn't been drinking Leffe Saturday night.

Sunday morning, spitting blood and trying to drink coffee.

In my case, it's a combination of receeding hairline and going grey. If
I shave it off, you don't see the grey.
Only if you're stuck in 1982.

It's a paranoia thing. If someone spots a bike they like they can find
out where it lives by checking the reg number. That's why I always
remove my number plate when I take the any of the bikes out for a
    ride.

Mate of mine plays in a thrash metal (or whatever it's called) band, and
he went down this road when his hair started thinning. He _is_ a
violent ****, though (used to fantasise about doing a Virginia Tech at
the uni where we did teacher training).

He failed the exams and went on to become a (wait for it...) male nurse.

Or you at least have the decency to put on a number plate from a
    matching bike.

That'd be a bit naughty, nearly as bad as deliberately obscuring or
    damaging your number plate.

That was suggested. After all, there were enough of us there.

Monz had a lucky escape though as he almost did the same.
