Edwards the mobile chicane gets pole again, I wonder how quickly he
will go back this time. Rossi and Pedrosa top off the front row,
Hayden, Stoner and Hopkins on 2nd row.

Stoner was on the fastest lap but had a front end wobble on the final
corner losing time, Pedrosa had a similar incident.

Hayden seems happier with the bike, doing very well in the wet
practice sessions somewhat proving the "small bike" can work for him
and isn't a Pedrosa only bike. He was a bit less on the pace in the
dry final session but still seems in with a chance of a good result.

As far as the race, assumming it's dry then there are 4 main
contenders it would seem, Stoner, Rossi, Hayden and Pedrosa, possibly
Hopkins too although I think he just wont have the pace.

Stoner on the Duc has again proved the combination can work even on a
track with no long straight, it seems he is right, it's not just the
    Duc power.

    Predictions for tomorrow then.......

    Stoner
    Rossi
    Pedrosa

I tend to agree with your race prediction. However, Rossi didn't seem
to show the same pace as Stoner, Pedrosa, and Hayden throughout FP1, 2
and 3. He has also crashed twice so far, although the last crash was
kind of a odd situation. Not too sure what the deal is with Rossi and
his pace this weekend. I always take into consideration the practice
sessions, and it seems to say something in this case especially. Rossi
can always throw a good qualifying session in.

I'm thrilled to see Hayden at the top again, through FP1, FP2, FP3,
and Qualifying. (wet & dry conditions) I heard the commentators
mentioning during qualifying that Hayden had been testing his new
chasis after the race weekend at Catalunya. He apparently put in 200
laps and 1000k in testing. Goes to show that he hasn't given up on
this RC212V yet, even though his title chances are over for '07. I'm
very interested to see how he runs in Germany, Netherlands, and USA
this year. (tracks that he has made a good showing at previously.

I'm not counting on Edwards having the race pace. And if Rossi doesn't
have it either then it might be a Stoner, Pedrosa, Hayden fight. And
maybe if the rain comes back tomorrow then Pedrosa will fade a little
and we can see Hayden at the front with Stoner. (I was suprised to see
that Rossi didn't have the pace in the wet either, WTF?!?!) Anyone
know anything about Rossi's troubles this weekend??

Not looked at the weather forcecast then? Looks like being a wet/dry
race so could be a really mixed up race reliant on tyres choices and
even lights to flag bike change choices.

Yep the weather looks like it's going to be wet.

I hope it's either wet or dry, not starting dry then raining in the
    middle of the race.

If it is wet a few more riders factor and a few drop out. Rossi
didn't seem comfy with the wet setup and Edwards was no where so
unless they can really sort it out I don't think they will win,
Stoner, Hayden and very surprisingly Pedrosa were all fast in the the
wet so count them in and you couldn't write off Vermulen, Hoppers,
DePuniet or Ant West (although it's his first Kwaka ride and he way
down the grid so maybe not).
