    Hi,

Just noticed that Champ is over here and competing.

Just seen the lap times on the MGP site, well done mate. Ill be out
tonight down by Ballig for a watch, I realise of course that you wont
see this until after the event, but good luck anyway.

    Gavsta says...
I don't think it is, leathers look wrong and I don't recall him buying
    an AGV Rossi replica helmet.

    Bad form etc.

    He's not riding a CBR600 either, he's on a Gixer 600.

And his race number isn't 17 either, that was his position (DUH!!!)

Rider number 17 is indeed on a CBR600, according to

  8. Wotcha.
Beware - I will be hitting the Isle of Man in the wee small hours of Friday
    morning.

I rather think Champ has little to worry about - 500 cc, making almost 24
bhp, with a bald, fat bastard on board.

We (Champ) should be out about [1] 10 mins after the first rider
through,so long as they [2] keep to their plan.

The bike has blue plates with 68 on. Overall, it's black and Champ has
mostly black leathers and a dark grey helmet.

    More on Champs blog.

Hardly. Anyone with a sprinkling of bike knowledge could recognise
    almost every modern sportsbike.

Only because they've got the make and model scrawled all over the fairing in
dayglo paint. Paint them all white and I'd have no hope of distinguishing a
Fireblade from an R1, 10R, Gixxer, whatever.

But I can tell a GoldWing from a Pan Euro...
