Good evening, Gentlemen. I am looking for information to enable me
to cross reference the early brown mica towered KLG and Lodge spark
plugs to other manufacturers' plugs with regard to size and heat range.

Does anyone know of any charts, publications, or indeed any source of
    information to this effect?

    Thanks in advance, Dave Carter.

Many thanks, Andy and Simon, for your plug cross reference info.
The six plugs I am trying to cross reference are all 18mm and numbered
    :-

    KLG: G1, G2, K1, 480
    Lodge: H1, H45

They are from the 1920's/30's from what I can gather.

    Best regards, Dave Carter.

I've actually owned a bike that had a mica H1 in it: a Norman autocycle
with Villiers JDL engine. I used to use 8-COM plugs in it because they
were the only 18mm plug that was readily available at the time. They're
too soft really but, as long as it produces a spark, a JDL will run on
anything that fits the hole in the head. The NGK plug for that engine
is the A7, which according to the NGK list, is the equivalent of a KLG
M60, which according to my KLG list, is the equivalent of a Lodge H1.
Well, that's one sorted - five to go.

    Andrew;
Of the six plugs, it was the H1 I wanted to check most of all because
I was hoping to use on an old engine as it looks more the part. Thank
    you!

    Regards, Dave.
