Michelin Hi-Sports

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by jackhackettuk, Oct 15, 2006.

  1. The VFR could do with some new tyres imminently, and I *was* going to
stick with the usual selection of a BT010 front / BT020 rear.

    However, I've seen a company advertising Hi-Sports TX15 front / TX25
    rear for £118 delivered.

Are these any good, or would adopting a set of these invariably involve
me becoming on first name terms with the local paintshop / ambulance
    crews?

TIA - any other recommendations for tyres for a VFR750FV gratefully
    received.

When did Michelin stop making Hi-Sports?
Last time I bought old-stock tyres they were not very grippy.
Pilot Powers seem good on my lardy old bus.

  3. Cheers for the advice, chaps.

Think I'll be giving these a miss.

I've recently had fitted a set of Azaro-STs, lovely they are.
