Dropped into the Black Horse today on the way home after a weekend holiday. Mu told me Mike went into hospital two weeks ago with lymph node cancer. (after a long period of Mike refusing to acknowledge the lumps and other symptoms existed - typical bloke!) He's currently getting chemo, I didn't pry into how it's going or what his prospects were as I guess Mu's got enough on her plate at the moment without someone asking her if it's going well or not. I know some others here already know about this. I asked Mu if she was OK with me telling others and she is. Mike is in the Royal Derby, Ward 302, visitors or cards to either / both welcome. No ciggies or booze! He's already been told off for smoking in his room :)
