Mikuni carb needs rebuild kit

I have a Mikuni carb that came off a 1981 Suzuki PE175 and theres no
identifying marks on the carb to find any rebuild kits. Does anyone
know what model carb this is or a part number for a complete rebuild
kit?

Unfortunately that site doesnt list the model of the bike I have.

 

Thanks for that, and that is definately the carb. Too bad the site
doesnt offer a kit. Too much to try it piece by piece. I looked
everywhere on there for model but no luck.

Ive been searching carb shops online and my local bike dealers but
nobody seems to have a kit. Does anyone know a company where I can buy
such a kit?

 

Missed that one. They got tons of parts. I emailed them to see if
they have a rebuild kit. Thanks for the info!

 

Well, this is there response:
"You have to go to the OEM dealer for a kit, that is a stock carb and
we only deal with after market carbs."

 

Just curious, I know in some old lawnmowers, theres a little pin hole
in the float bowl cover screw. I bought a lawnmower for 5 bucks at a
yard sale, cleaned out that little pin hole and still works to this
day. Im curious if that Mikuni carb has the same thing on the float
bowl screw.

 

No, your VM carburetor has a float bowl vent on the left side. There
should be a short rubber or plastic hose on a brass spigot.
